oil leak HELP

I just put my engine in my car and i went to put oil in it and oil started leaking from where the crank pully goes on...what is it?...is there an easy way to fix it?...and can i fix it with the engine in the car?:mad2::frusty:

Install the pulley?

Did you split the case or just re-gasket the engine?If it is a complete rebuild,did you install the oil slinger the right direction?Also Danny is right,put the front pully back on.Also check case bolts torque.

Its leaking with the pully on...and the day befor i drove a car with that engine in it and it was fine...wld useing an after market alummin pully have any thingbto do with it and whats the torque for the pully bolt?

i figured it out the pully that was letting it leak was a few thousends of an inch too small..all fixed no more leaky
