Hello All!

My name is Stevan Smith (aka BoneDaddyTX) and I live in Webster, TX. I have been a complete nut over air-cooled bugs (and Porsche's) since day one.

I literally cut my teeth on the door panel of a '55 Porsche Speedster that my dad owned when I was a baby. The car now sits in a museum in San Francisco.

When I got old enough to drive I could think of no other mode of transportation than bugs and Porsches. In a nutshell I've owned a '69 Squareback, a '65 Bug, a '63 356B, a '70 914 and a '70 Bug.

I am currently negotiating on a '67 Bug out of Colorado Springs and hope to have it very soon.

I am thrilled to be a member of this forum and hope to be able to gather info as well as give some if needed.

Happy Buggin'
Stevan "BoneDaddyTX" Smith

:welcome:

Glad you have joined us!

I would love to have a '71 914 or Ghia.

Come out to our next meeting on June 7th and meet us. Or at our next show-n-shine get together that will be at Pappa's BBQ on 290 on June 13th.

We always love to see any new car people in the area.

Hello All!

Just a quick update on the 67 Bug in Colorado that I'm trying to buy. After a trip to South America, my uncle is finally back in Colorado Springs and has scheduled Saturday to look at the bug and give me his impressions. I'll be on the phone as he looks at it and if all goes well, I'll buy it so please keep your fingers crossed that it's as good as it looks.

Here are a few pics. Let me know what you think!

Geez, another '67. And a really nice one. That would make 4 in the Clear Lake/La Porte/Texas City area... Wow.

Hope you get it. If not, I know of another that may be available...
