Hi all,

I live around the Houston area and am in need to someone to do my headliner. I have a 77 MK1 2-dr w/sunroof. I really would like to have it done professionally since it makes all the difference.

Depending on where you're at in Houston, I'd recommend Clearlake Auto Upholstery. It's a one man mom/pop shop. The man that makes it happen is Greg!!! His number is 281-332-0083. His shop is located at 300 Hwy 3 N in League city Texas (just half a block north of FM 518). He did the headliner on my '97 Passat!!! Not only was his work very thorough, but he works fast and his pricing is very fair!!! He did my headliner on my '97 Passat sedan (Sans moonroof) for $120!!! If y'all were to look at my moonroof and the new headliner, you could never tell the difference between the two. Like I said he works fast!!! I dropped off my Passat at 10:30 AM. He had two cars ahead of mine and yet by 4:30 PM he called to tell me the headliner was done!!! If you want quality and value, this is the guy to go to!!! I must note however his shop is right behind a sign shop (i.e. you can't see it from the street). Give him a call and see what he'll tell ya!!! :-)
