Time for a Bug-B-Q

Hey guys, haven't been here for a while but now need real help. I have recently installed a new 1641 w/ dual Weber 34 ICTs. I can get about a mile or so from home running strong, then it bogs out and wont go over 20mph. I changed the fuel pump and put the 009 back on (was SVDA) and same problems. The entire fuel system is new from the tank to the carbs. Just can't seem to pin this problem down. Yes, I have fuel in the tank, cleaned tank, new filters, plugs all ok. However, while idling, if I pull wires 1 & 3 from the dizzy, nothing happens. Pulling 2 & 4nwill make it sputter. Any ideas?

It sounds like you have a problem with the carbs, not sync correctly or not adjusted right. You might check your compression as well. the engine will run on 2 cylinders....But check those items, Hope this helps

where did you get the carbs from?
