New Here - Looking for some Help

Dear All,

My name is Jason and I live in Sugar Land. I inherited a 1973 Beetle from my Grandfather recently. It is a really beautiful car, orange-red with white wheels and a black/white interior.

However, right now it is not running and I'm not sure why. I'm not much of a mechanic and I don't have that much time to work on it either. I have been trying to find a good mechanic in Houston who will work on it for me, but I haven't found anyone yet. Can someone give me any suggestions on this?

I should have done some searching first. It looks like a lot of you recommend Donnie Smith of Smith Foreign Auto. Does he still get a high recommendation on this board?
