Got this email today... We need to do this. A great chance for exposure of all VW clubs and gangs in the Houston area. Here is the email.


Good afternoon. I'm Julie Bradford, a volunteer at Houston's Ronald McDonald House in the Texas Medical Center.

On Saturday, May 2, we will be hosting our annual Children's Party and the theme of this year's party is High School Musical. We thought it would be a great addition to the party to have several Beetles parked out front in the circle drive for the children to see. Please let me know if your club would be available to provide several cars for this event. I've attached the event flyer for more details.

I would surely go out and support this cause, again it is on the dates of my show at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds so unfortunately we will not be able to make it, But we will have to keep these guys in mind for next year.....

Okay, here is some info I got from Wendy...

Show is from 11am - 2pm, Saturday, May 2 at 1907 Holcomb, near the VA. Moonwalk for the kids (and Paul) with other activities and food provided by McDonalds. Arrive around 1030am to set up in the circle drive (if few cars show up) or in parking lot provided (if a lot show up). If you need more info, call Wendy at 713-795-3563. She said this is an event for the kids presently at the Ronald McDonald House and for those who have stayed in the past year. It will be a chance for the kids to see the VW's and get pictures with.

She would like an estimate on how many will show up the day before...
