Hi, I'm Henry, I'm a early water cooled junkie. I'm down to 11 A1 chassis cars and my wife's "New Rabbit". I bought my first VW in 2002 and it has snow balled from there. I was trying to buy another this weekend but someone beat me to it. I have parts cars so if anyone is looking for something let me know.

Hi Henry! Welcome! How much does a rabbit truck go for, I know they made diesels, But, did they ever make a t.d.i.?

I tried a little research to try and find out if the TDI Rabbit truck was built
on the new platform(s). Could not find anything. There are some trucks that
are based on the Eurovan with TDI motors.
Any information Henry?

I don't think VW ever put the TDI in the A1/Rabbit chassis. There is some conversions on VWvortex.com

TopGear also did a conversion.

You can also change out the diesel with a turbo model from a Rabbit or Jetta and it does not require adding the electronics the TDI does.

As for price, $5000 and down depending on condition? There is one in down town Humble that has been sitting for a few years?

Yes, that was me... My goal was to have one of each body built on the A1 chassis. I did it, except no 4 doors. But ended up with parts cars too.

Now I have parking issues...
