My name is Robert and I am on my 2nd 2001 GLX New Beetle. I have made it to the last couple of meetings and enjoyed them. :becky: My car is my toy so I am always doing something to it. My other hobbies are DVDs and computers.

Not sure if it is good or not but I can say I have seen every single part on my car. I also do 99% of the work on the car myself so if you need help with a New Beetle (I know the 1.8t really really well) shoot me a PM.

Anyway I am looking forward to more meetings and shows in the future.

I have never really paid much attention to the new beetles, but you and all those others who have really nice ones are making me reconsider my stance.
Looking forward to seeing you and your car out at the events, I am painfully new here and I'm dizzy from all the different vws, and how cool everyone is.

Nice to...erm...meet you!

I was wanting a New Beetle since I heard they were planning to make one. My dad had a 67 bug and I remember some about it as he sold it when I was 6 or so. I remember and miss the sound and smell of it. I have been trying to help my dad find another 67 bug as a project car. He is an old school VW tech and still remembers how to work on them.

I am also looking forward to making it to some shows myself, hope to see you there as well.
