everything works but now when i hit the brakes and the turnsignal is on it blows the fuse to the main and lights any ideas

i hooked the black wire up as a ground,it wasnt it was the blinker wire the housing it self is grounded in a bug this i did not know

Just for future reference. VW was weird and made brown (I guess it's the color of earth) the color of choice for ground wires.
