anyone know how to change a Microsoft word document to a Microsoft works document?
I really dont want to pay for Microsoft word. My copy of the program is out of date and wont work with vista and my bid sheet is trapped in M word. Thats the only thing I use M word for.

Microsoft Word doesn't handle .pdf files either. Adobe (Acrobat) Reader does, but even then, I'm not sure you'll be able to write on the document.
But if the document was truly a Word 2007 document (.docx), you can get Works to read it by downloading and installing the free Microsoft Compatibility Pack.
You'll still have to open the .docx document from within Works WP with the File Open dialog box, using the Files of Type list box.
