I'm still leaking alot of oil in the vert. I heard I need to change the oil filler tube to a stock set up. I was told the Empi one that I have is notorious for leaking. Thoughts? :noidea:

ya and you def have some added crankcase pressure!
dam lmao because tonite we went to tomball in the bug and my oil pressure drops to about 5 pds when were at a stop light idling so i thought it was low on oil so i added a qt then on the way home it blew all the oil out of the vent tube all over the brand new deck lid we made all over the back of the car , the motor does not like extra oil in it at all, anyways we got back int he car after we stopped and checked it, and it seems to be fine but its weired i have 5 pds of oil pressure at idle and 50 pds of oil pressure when were driving

for the life of my, i cannot find a pic and i forget which way it goes. i will try to find out tomorrow or get someone to chime in.
I do not have a pic,but I have installed many of these plates.Louvers face down into to engine and the open ends face the pass. side. This way if ony blow-by get up that way it runs back into the engine. If you put the louvers facing up,you will wind up with oil spray out of your cap.

I have no idea what Mark tightened earlier today, but hopefully it did the trick.
Joe try changing the bottom Empi pully to a stock pully.I have ran those on mine before and the grooves are not as deep as the stock. Also have you tryed changing the dist. o-ring at the bottom a of the dist.Just a few thoughts.
