Plans, slight drop, new top and door panels, new wheels, new seat material, clean up the dash (has some scratches and what not), and some other small items.

looks good man. I would almost feel bad because the car is so nice and complete but it would look killer with no bumpers and slammed all the way down to its belly :)

LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!
Not everything looks good dropped. Been there...done that...got divorced!!!
Ha Ha.
The car will drive nicer if left alone, unless you get Nuespeed suspension. That system is awesome. My cabrio had it and never had a problem with it.
I miss my '92 cabrio.
But I love my 2001.

i have to drop it a little, just can't help it....but i will fix the issues first. If i can get the new top, door panels, and maybe some other small stuff done before the classic i woull be happy, if not, i will drop the top and enjoy the hell out of it during the show and cruises.

Looks good. Welcome to the wonderful world of water.
I have lowering springs on mine that I found in the junk yard. And I have found tops on ebay. I also have a couple of MKI parts cars if you need something.

Was thinking about doing "period correct" aftermarket stuff. Doing drop spring and not coilovers, old skool cassete player, ideas?

Springs are easy, just a few bolts and a spring compressor.
